In 1986, Paul Milde formed his own business, now known as Closet Interiors Plus, located in Stafford County. He is a lifelong Virginian, and Stafford has been his home since 1989.

Mr. Milde is a member of the Aquia Harbour Lions Club and a sponsor of the Adopt-A-Classroom program, sponsoring a classroom at Stafford Senior High School. He is also an Adopt-A-Highway sponsor of a portion of Jefferson Davis Highway (U.S. Route 1) in Stafford, near the entrance to Aquia Harbour.

Mr. Milde founded and serves as the Chairman of SaveCrowsNest.com, a campaign to increase public awareness and knowledge of the importance of leaving Stafford's Crow's Nest Peninsula, one of the largest pieces of undeveloped land in the County, undisturbed.

Mr. Milde is the father of two children, Travis, 17, and Bailey, 13, who both attend Stafford County schools.  He attends Andrew Chapel Methodist Church in Brooke, Va. An avid diver, Mr. Milde is certified by the National Association of Underwater Instructors as both a Scuba Diver and an Enriched Air Nitrox (EANx) Scuba Diver.
